IceRays Announce Schedule Changes

Aug 16, 2017

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), have announced date changes to the 2017-18 schedule, the team announced this morning.

Due to conflicts at the American Bank Center, the IceRays have moved their game against the Shreveport Mudbugs from Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 to Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 as well as their meeting with the Lone Star Brahmas on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 to Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. Both games will remain at 7:05 p.m. and will mark the sole Thursday-Friday series on the home schedule.

The IceRays have also altered the start time to their meeting with the Amarillo Bulls on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 7:05 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. to help absolve schedule conflicts at the arena. This move has been officially done closer to game night rather than at the outset of the season.

In addition, the Mudbugs have moved their home meeting with the IceRays from Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2018 to Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 to help accommodate a potential two-day trip from Amarillo for a one-game series. Instead, the IceRays will play the Brahmas the previous Friday and Saturday, travel to Shreveport for the sole Wednesday game, then head to Odessa for the final weekend before the holiday break. That game will be at 7:11 p.m.

The updated schedule can be viewed here.
