Chief Executive Officer Steve Donner announced today that the Corpus Christi IceRays have acquired defenseman Joel Hanson from the Kenai River Brown Bears in exchange for a 2027 2nd round pick.

The win marked the IceRays third straight overtime victory and the second consecutive game in which Easton Swift scored the overtime winner.

The third-year blueliner played an instrumental role in the IceRays weekend sweep, recording four points across two games.
